Muzeum Ziemi Wałeckiej Wałcz

Muzeum Ziemi Wałeckiej, mieszczące się w Wałczu, to placówka miejska zlokalizowana w klasycystycznym dworze z początku XIX wieku. Zostało założone w 1982 roku i gromadzi eksponaty związane z historią miasta oraz regionu, od czasów prehistorycznych po okres powojenny. Stała ekspozycja pt. "Dzieje Ziemi Wałeckiej" obejmuje m.in. znaleziska archeologiczne z wykopalisk w Strącznie i Tucznie, w tym przedmioty codziennego użytku, wyposażenie grobów oraz elementy uzbrojenia. Można tu również zobaczyć dokumenty z XVII i XVIII wieku związane z lokalnym starostwem, pamiątki z czasów zaboru pruskiego oraz eksponaty upamiętniające przełamanie Wału Pomorskiego w 1945 roku.

Muzeum oferuje także wgląd w prace rzemiosła artystycznego. Dodatkowo, w ramach muzeum, zwiedzać można Skansen Fortyfikacyjny Grupa Warowna "Cegielnia", gdzie znajdują się pozostałości niemieckich umocnień Wału Pomorskiego, wybudowanych w latach 1932-1935.
