Dziwnów to nadmorska miejscowość w województwie zachodniopomorskim. Przez miasto przepływa rzeka Dziwna do Morza Bałtyckiego, a od południa Dziwnów znajduje się nad Zalewem Kamieńskim i Zatoką Wrzosowską.
W Dziwnowie znajduje się kąpielisko letnie które obejmuje 800 m linii brzegowej (jest to obszar od ulicy Parkowej do ulicy Żeromskiego). W mieście jest most zwodzony, a u wejścia do portu są dwa falochrony (o takiej samej długości 350 m). Jest też promenada widokowa przebiegająca wzdłuż Parku Zdrojowego ze starodrzewem.
Podczas sezonu letniego funkcjonują trzy statki "pirackie" (Roza, Korsarz oraz Weneda), pływające po Morzu Bałtyckim przez ok. 2,5 godziny, a statek o nazwie Victoria I pływa do Kamienia Pomorskiego i z powrotem. W Dziwnowie znajduje się Aleja Gwiazd Sportu, na której znajdują się hala sportowa i repliki medali znanych sportowców.
Od paru lat w Dziwnowie funkcjonuje Nadmorski Park Miniatur, gdzie można zobaczyć miniaturowe wersje zabytków usytuowanych na polskim wybrzeżu, np. latarnie morskie. W mieście znajdują się dodatkowo Kościół parafialny pw. św. Józefa Oblubieńca NMP, Kościół parafii wojskowej pw.
